Hydro Fracking has been linked to huge problems in ozone deletion and air quality. A good example of this is a existing Hydro Fracking site in Wisconsin that is making it dangerous for the elderly and those with breathing problems to go outdoors. (I'll post a link with a article). This is especially important for the Hudson Valley (NY) and other areas which are known to contain particularly high rates of asthma and emphysema.
Hydro Fracking also releases toxic chemicals below the earths surface and can be found in the site's waste water.
