Fracking Action!

 

FRACKING is a method of gas extraction that involves injecting secret, highly-toxic chemicals deep underground to fracture rock formations. Fracking has been linked to over 1,000 incidents of groundwater contamination across the US, including many cases where people can actually ignite their tap water!  The process is currently unregulated due to numerous exemptions in federal laws, and is a threat to our public health and environment.

50 States for Clean Air- Earthjustice

On May 2, 2011, doctors, nurses, faith and tribal leaders, social justice advocates and affected citizens from all 50 states are convening in Washington, D.C. to send a powerful message: all Americans have a right to breathe clean, healthy air.
These Clean Air Ambassadors will meet with members of Congress, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Obama administration to speak out for strong protections against pollution that is harmful to our health.Read More:
